After the 348, the 355, the 360 and the F430, the 458 Challenge is the fifth model that Ferrari has entered in the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli one-make cup.
The 4.5-liter V8 gasoline direct injection engine in the Ferrari 458 remains technically untouched and continues to produce 570 hp and 540 Nm. In contrast, the gear ratios of the dual-clutch shifting box have been adapted for racing use. The electronic limited-slip differential, which further optimizes the racer’s traction, was also adopted from the road version.
