We are delighted to invite you and your companions to a piano concert with Seong-Jin Cho, official partner of this year’s Menuhin Festival in Gstaad. The evening begins with an aperitif at 18:00 in the Hotel Le Grand Bellevue to get us in the mood for the upcoming concert. Afterwards, our shuttle service will be ready to take you to the church in Saanen, where the concert will take place.

After the concert, we cordially invite you to round off the evening at the bar of the Hotel Le Grand Bellevue.

Recital Seong-Jin Cho

The Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy is proud to once again present the outstanding pianist Seong-Jin Cho, winner of the prestigious Chopin Competition 2015. Cho returns with a new, dazzling program after thrilling performances in previous years, including his 2017 Rougemont recital with Beethoven and Chopin and his impressive playing in Beethoven’s “Emperor” piano concerto in 2019.

This year Cho brings us two important works of piano literature: Franz Liszt’s “Italien-Betrachtung” from the Années de pèlerinage transports the audience into a world full of passion and lyrical beauty, while Maurice Ravel’s “Miroirs” enchants with its impressionistic texture and emotional depth.

Seong-Jin Cho is an artist who combines both technical perfection and profound emotional expressiveness with every note. Experience an evening full of musical poetry and masterly piano art that will live long in the memory.
